Older People

The very first event SUPERACT! carried out was at a residential home for older people as part of a study into reminiscence. The work subsequently showed that music provided the most positive impact on those who took part.

Subsequently, SUPERACT! has worked extensively with older people, including those suffering with dementia. Skilled musicians can bring do much enjoyment to older people and through interactive work, can offer the opportunity to revive skills and try out new ones.

SUPERACT! takes full account of the circumstances of each audience group and will work with those who manage centres and homes to ensure that the delivery of the project is exactly what is required.

With a wide variety of music genres, cultures and traditions to call upon, we can offer a broad range of fascinating workshops and performances which will bring joy and pleasure to those who take part.
