Superact invites YOU to train as a Storytelling Facilitator!

By October 3, 2016 News No Comments

Are you interested in other people’s stories?

Do you like telling your own?

Ever fancied being a storytelling workshop leader?

Stu Packer, resident Storyteller and Coach for Superact, will take you through an exciting, fun, challenging series of workshops. You’ll be left with skills you never thought possible!

The workshops are taking place as part of our Erasmus+ Project Aladdin & the Intergenerational Lamp, which seeks to provide opportunities for intergenerational story telling, facilitating skill sharing and understanding between older retired individuals and vulnerable younger people including migrants, those with low language or social skills, young people disengaged from education and those that suffer from economic obstacles.

The workshops are offered to people aged 55+, and will give you the skills and confidence to lead your own story sharing workshops. All we ask in return is that you give it a go with a group of young people sometime in 2017 – with Superact and Aladdin’s full support of course!

Workshops will take place on Tuesdays from 11th October at St. John’s Hospital, Bath. Places are limited so reserve your space now by emailing anna.ferguson@stjohnsbath.org.uk or jayne.howse@stjohnsbath.org.uk. For more information on the project please visit www.aladdinproject.eu
