Last month we were delighted to hold the official launch party for our new permanent office base in Wellington. This town in Somerset is where Superact was first born, and after over 10 years we are very happy to be going back to our roots and reconnecting with the local area. Our new HQ is housed in the beautiful old buildings of the Tonedale Mill area, alongside old friends – including our Music & Memories partners Reminiscence Learning – and creative businesses we’re currently getting to know.
The launch included welcoming speeches from David Evans (Economic Development Manager at Taunton Deane Borough Council) and famous local resident Bernard Rhodes, and the office was officially opened by the Mayor of Wellington. Folk musicians Pound & Webster provided accompanying entertainment and we were joined by councillors, rotary members, local figures from the creative industries and many other well-wishers. Thank you to those that came, and here’s to a long and happy life for Superact in Wellington. If you’re ever in the area, please do pop by for a cuppa!
