There’ll be activities galore for all the family including whittling & spoon carving, bushcraft skills, potting & planting and a chance to get crafty with nature…. all topped off with some fabulous Caribbean food courtesy of Kay’s Kitchen to be enjoyed around the fire!
Netplants UK have teamed up with the outdoors education site at Growing Futures to offer events and workshops for vulnerable individuals and groups. Growing Futures already works with young people and members of the community to cultivate personal growth, self-responsibility and community awareness through horticulture and work with nature. Netplants aims to make the environment accessible to all for its profound benefits to health and wellbeing, so we felt Growing Futures was the perfect local partner for us and enabled Desmond, the project’s founder, to visit Spain on a Netplants workshop week. You can read about his experience here.
Come along for some fun in the great outdoors and a chance to explore the secret wilderness on your doorstep in urban Bristol!
