After 6 years working in Scotland, first for PR company CM Porter Novelli (now Pagoda Porter Novelli), Eleanor found her home in the arts as Press Officer for the Traverse Theatre, Scotland’s new writing theatre and then Communications Executive for Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust, the first City of Literature in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

Eleanor joined Superact in January 2017 as Head of Communications for Superact, bringing her knowledge and know-how in all forms of communication bedded in a passion for the arts and the difference they can make to people’s lives.

Eleanor’s work has always been about audience engagement with the arts with Traverse Theatre productions including Clean by Sabrina Mahfouz, which transferred to New York in 2014, and the award winning Spoiling by John McCann, which transferred to Theatre Royal Stratford East. With Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust, she worked closely with the UNESCO Cities of Literature Network on projects both in Scotland and abroad, she was Lead on Advocacy and Communication for Literature Alliance Scotland and hosted the much loved Story Shop programme at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.
A lover of all things literary, particularly spoken word and storytelling, Eleanor now lives in Bristol and is exploring this new artistic city which offers so much for arts and creativity.
